- Attribution dashboard locked
- Advanced analytics hidden
- Free plan limits apply

Cancel vs Downgrade
Cancel trial:
- Available only during trial period

- Returns to Free plan
Downgrade after trial:
- Available after trial converts to paid
- May have pro-rated charges
- Returns to Free plan
After Trial Ends
Auto-Convert to Paid (Default)
If you do nothing, trial automatically converts:
Day 15 (First Paid Day):
Shopify charge created:
DemandLoop Growth Plan: $19.00
Description: Monthly base fee
Status: Pending approval
You see this in Shopify:
- Charge appears in Shopify billing
- You approve or decline
- Must approve to keep Growth features
If you approve:
- Growth features continue
- $19 charged
- Usage charges for trial period attributed orders
- Next charge in 30 days
If you decline:
- Growth features lock immediately
- Revert to Free plan
- No charges
- Can upgrade later
Trial Attribution Charges
Important: Orders attributed during trial are still charged commission—even though trial was "free."
Example scenario:
Trial: January 1-14
Orders attributed: 10 orders = $1,000 revenue
Commission: $1,000 × 2% = $20
On Day 15:
- Base fee charge: $19
- Usage charge: $20
- Total first charge: $39
Why? Those attributed orders generated real revenue for your store. The trial let you see attribution value before paying base fee.
First Month Billing
Your first paid month includes:
1. Base fee: $19
- For Days 15-45 (next 30 days)
2. Trial period usage: Variable
- Commission on orders attributed during trial
- Could be $0 if no attributed orders
3. Post-trial usage: Variable
- Commission on new attributed orders
- Added to first month charge
Example first invoice:
Base Fee (Jan 15 - Feb 14): $19.00
Usage (Trial Period): $20.00
Usage (Jan 15-31): $35.00
Total: $74.00

Attribution data is valuable
- You see clear ROI from attributed orders
- Revenue tracking helps inventory planning

Signs You Should Cancel
No attributed orders yet
- Trial didn't track any conversions
- Need more time to see results
- Consider staying on Free plan longer
Cost doesn't justify value
- Attributed revenue too low
- Free plan limits aren't a problem
- Basic analytics are enough
Timing isn't right
- Not ready to commit monthly charge
- Need to focus on other priorities
- Can always try again later
ROI Calculator
Use this to decide if Growth is worth it:
Break-Even Analysis
Question: How much attributed revenue do I need to justify $19/month?
Conservative scenario:
Your average order: $50
Typical conversion: 5%
Break-even: $19 ÷ 5% = $380 in sales needed
Orders needed: $380 ÷ $50 = 7.6 → 8 orders
If you attribute 8+ orders/month, Growth pays for itself.
During trial, check:
Dashboard → Billing & Attribution
If you see:
- 8+ attributed orders — Growth makes sense
- 3-7 attributed orders — Consider usage patterns
- 0-2 attributed orders — Stick with Free for now
Monthly Cost Estimator
If trial showed:
- 20 attributed orders
- $2,000 total revenue
Estimated monthly cost:
Base fee: $19
Commission: $2,000 × 2% = $40
Total: $59/month
Is this worth it?
- You recovered $2,000 in revenue
- Cost: $59 (3% of recovery)
- ROI: 3,300%
